Platform Statement:

It would be a privilege to serve my colleagues as Region 7 Chair. Over the last year, I participated on the Region 7 Steering Committee and was Co-Chair of the Region 7 Conference. Through these involvements, I have had the opportunity to connect with many advisors and administrators from across the Region. I am convinced NACADA is one of most active and beneficial professional organizations with which I've been involved.

As Region 7 Chair, I would continue to encourage and enhance NACADA membership and involvement at all levels. I would do this through the continued support of well-organized, informative and affordable state and region conferences. One area in particular I would like to focus on is increasing the number of faculty advisors we have participating in state and regional conferences. Their experiences, perspectives and voices are an important part of the advising profession.
