Statement:
I am running for the
position of Vice President because I see the person in this position
as the critical communications link in the organization. The Council
is where the plans and policies articulated by the Board of Directors
develop the flesh and muscle that the rest of the academic world
sees as NACADA. The Vice President needs to be a good listener,
a facilitator, an advocate, and a mediator. I have experience
fulfilling all of these roles. I believe I can function effectively
at the intersection of discussion between the divisions and the
Board of Directors. I am excited at the possibility of serving
NACADA in this capacity.
My goal for the position
is to advance NACADA's strategic plan. My personal areas of interest
