NACADA Research Symposium

March 9 & 10, 2012 - Las Vegas, NV

   (following Region 9 Conference)

 Join us for 24 hours of Research after the

Regional Conference!

  • The Purpose of the Symposium is to build a community of scholars. It is open to all those in the academic advising profession.
  • The Event will take place with selected Regional Conferences.
  • The Program is designed for researchers at all levels who are ready to transform their ideas into scholarly works
  • The Agenda will include: large group discussions, small group interactions, independent work, and one-on-one time with research mentors
  • The Participants will receive a binder with pertinent articles related to research in advising, among other useful tools and materials
  • The Cost is $75, which includes Research Symposium resources, time with NACADA consultant, lunch, and refreshments

  • Registration fees will be $75 before February 22, 2012 and $110 thereafter.

Tentative Schedule

Tentatively:   Meeting will begin at approximately 1 p.m. Friday, March 9 and end at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 10.

Friday dinner will be on your own.  Lunch will be provided on Saturday.
