New Member Blitz for 2006
January 3 - June 1, 2006
The
NACADA Executive Office & Membership Committee is pleased to
announce a new membership drive for 2006 - NEW
MEMBER BLITZ FOR 2006. NACADA member testimony to the
value of the association and its efforts to enhance student learning
and development through academic advising is the best means to encourage
others to join NACADA. By sharing the importance of NACADA
in your professional life, you have an opportunity to:
- Enhance the influence of NACADA as an
association in higher education
- Strengthen NACADA and its efforts to
promote the field of academic advising
- Expand your network of advising professionals
- Promote the involvement of diverse populations
in the association
As
an added component of this membership drive, the Membership Committee
looks forward to enhancing the diversity of NACADA through increasing
the percentage of Faculty Advisor, African American, Native American,
Graduate Student, and Two-Year College members. Why
not ask your colleagues from these groups to join NACADA in 2006?
Let's encourage increased diversity within NACADA at all levels
of membership and participation!

Drawings
for the above prizes will be conducted on June 15, 2006. See
Rules/Restrictions below.
An
additional drawing for a NACADA shirt will be held at the end of
each month (January-May) during the drive. Shirt winners will
be notified by email.

you wish to support NACADA by recruiting new members, simply pass
along a copy of the New Member
Application found here
to a colleague. Be sure to include your name and email address as
the new member "Sponsor" at the bottom of the form.

Rules/Restrictions:
- Must be a current NACADA member to
participate.
- Current members recruit others to
join NACADA to become eligible for the three prize drawings listed
above. Sponsor must have his/her name on a special new member
application form as the sponsor of the new member. Sponsor name
will be entered in the drawings.
- New
Member Blitz for 2006 campaign begins at 8:00 a.m. (CST)
January 3, 2006 and ends at 5:00 p.m. (CDT) June 1, 2006. All
sponsored new member applications must be received in the NACADA
Executive Office by 5:00 p.m. (CDT) on June 1, 2006. Drawings
for the three prizes will be conducted at the NACADA Executive
Office, 2323 Anderson Avenue, Suite 225, Manhattan, KS 66502 on
June 15, 2006.
- Grand Prize winner must contact executive
office to make airline reservations (restrictions apply).
- Odds of winning depend upon the number
of sponsored new memberships received by June 1, 2006.
- Drawings on June 15, 2006, will be
completed in the following order: 3rd Prize, 2nd Prize,
Grand Prize.
- Contest is void where prohibited by
law.
