Service to Commission Awards
The
NACADA Service to Commission Award was created to recognize an individual
who has provided outstanding service, leadership, and commitment
to a specific commission. Each
NACADA Commission that has been in existence for a minimum of three
years may select one individual each year to receive a NACADA Service
to Commission Award. A recognition plaque will be presented at the
commission's annual meeting held during the fall NACADA Annual Conference.
NOTE: The following commissions awarded the 2011 Service to Commission
Award:
- Advising Administration Commission to Janet Spence (University of Louisville)
- Advising Education Majors Commission to Darcie Peterson (Utah State University)
- Theory & Philosophy of Advising Commission to Marc Lowenstein (Richard Stockton College)
- Two-Year Colleges Commission to Steve Schneider (Fox Valley Technically College)
