Volunteer Opportunities—

Commissions and Interest Groups: Volunteer opportunities may be available within the individual Commissions and Interest Groups (IGs) to which you belong. The Chairs of these units often need members to assist with activities and tasks, such as representation at regional and state meetings, web page development and maintenance, newsletter writing, research, writing articles for NACADA publications, assisting with the Commission and Interest Group Fair at national conference, reviewing conference proposals, and serving on special committees. To volunteer, contact the Chair of those Commissions or Interest Groups to which you belong.

Regional Conferences: Volunteer opportunities that may be available with the regional conferences include collating registration materials, distributing and collecting evaluations, moderating sessions, and assisting with registration. To inquire about volunteer opportunities at your regional conference, please contact the Regional Conference Chair for your region.

Regions: Volunteer opportunities may also be available within your region, which may include newsletter writing, assisting with state drive-in meetings, web page development and maintenance, and serving on special committees. To inquire about and volunteer for these opportunities, contact your Region Chair.
