To
promote involvement and leadership development within NACADA at
all levels (state, regional, national), NACADA has established the
NACADA Leadership Program. Leaders are continually being selected
and program participants are always welcome. If you would like to
work with a NACADA leader to learn more about the Association and
how you can become involved in a leadership position, we encourage
you to complete an application today! Please note that you need
to be a current NACADA member to participate in this program.
NOTE: The primary purpose of this program is for learning about
the NACADA organization and preparing individuals for future leadership
positions within the association -- not for mentoring advisors in
their advising roles. NACADA is currently in the process of developing
a separate program for advisor mentoring and more information should
be available soon on our web site. Issues being discussed in the
NACADA Leadership Program will focus on the association itself and
involvement with its governance, structure, and leadership. This
program will help better prepare NACADA members for the association's
leadership positions at the state, regional, and national levels,
including the Council or Board of Directors at some point.
