Wolf, CIGD Liaison, by November
15.
At the CIG Division meeting, the importance of outlining your goals
before tackling the report was discussed, and to make sure your
goals are related to a specific mission within the NACADA Strategic
Plan. You are encouraged to select only one or two goals and activities
that are attainable over this next year. Remember — an activity
does not need to be entered under every statement within the Strategic
Plan.
Commission
Chairs: If an activity will require funding, be sure to
include a request for funds in the same column when entering that
activity. For the Service to Commission Award, enter a $50 fund
request for this activity.
Interest Group Chairs: Post-conference reports
are optional for Interest Group Chairs (unless you plan to seek
Commission status). If you plan to seek Commission status for your
interest group next year, be sure to indicate this initial intent
via the post-conference report form by November 15. For your formal
request for Commission status, please follow the guidelines, timeline,
and report format as outlined at www.nacada.ksu.edu/Commissions/guidelines.htm.
Potential Interest Group Chairs: If you plan to
seek official Interest Group status, the post-conference report
form should not be used for this purpose. Please follow
the guidelines, timeline, and report format as outlined at www.nacada.ksu.edu/InterestGroups/guidelines.htm,
and submit it by November 15 to the CIGD Reps.
