AUGUST 2007 DEADLINES and EVENTS:

• AUGUST 10 - Let Julia Wolf know if you will not need a table-top display board for the CIGD Fair in Baltimore.
• AUGUST 15 - Fall Leadership Unit Reports due online to Division Reps and Executive Office. Contact Julia Wolf if you have questions or need your specific login/password for the online Leadership report system sent to you again.
• AUGUST 24 -- Interest Group Chairs & Steering Committee Members: Notify Julia Wolf if you are planning to attend the CIG Division meeting and/or Leadership dinner on October 17, to help us to better plan for these events.
• ONGOING — Solicit nominations for your successor as Commission Chair if being elected in 2008. If stepping down as Interest Group Chair, solicit possible successors as well. Contact Julia Wolf if you'd like to receive a list of current members in your respective unit to review for possible candidates.

ADVANCE SEPTEMBER 2007 REMINDERS:

• SEPTEMBER 22 -- Deadline for early registration discount for Annual Conference. Click HERE for registration and hotel information.
• ONGOING -- Plan the agenda for your respective Commission or Interest Group meeting held during the annual conference in Baltimore. Contact Julia Wolf if you'd like to e-mail the agenda to your unit members prior to conference.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS, LINKS, AND SUGGESTIONS --

• Annual Meeting Feedback Forms — Remember, you will need to supply your own feedback form for your unit's annual meeting in Baltimore if you plan to gather feedback from your members. (If you want to e-mail the template to me, I can make copies and give them to you in Baltimore.)  If you created your own evaluation form for your annual meeting in Indy last year, could you please e-mail this document to Julia Wolf, or fax a copy to Julia at (785) 532-7732? These sample forms will be posted on a web page to help other Chairs create such a form for use in Baltimore.
• Webinar Topic Suggestion Form — Commission & Interest Group Chairs have an opportunity for input into the Webinar selection process for future seasons. If you would like to submit a topic for consideration, complete and submit the online form. Chairs are also encouraged to include mention of this form at their annual meetings in Baltimore to solicit input on these topics from their unit members.

• The 2007 Fall Leadership meeting schedule is posted HERE. A list of attendees expected at these meetings can also be accessed from this web site.
• Specific dates/times for Commission-sponsored sessions and annual unit meetings will be posted to your "Conference Events" web pages by late August after the final conference schedule has been confirmed. A link to the applicable track of conference sessions in Baltimore has already been posted on your unit's "Conference Events" web page.
• Check the general NACADA Calendar for other dates of interest.
