about Hot Topics: If you want to present a

submit a proposal online as done for all conference presentation
proposals by February 13th.
Be sure to begin the
title of your submission with "HOT TOPIC"
so it can be easily distinguished from other proposals.
Time slots for the Hot Topics sessions are on a "first-come,
first-serve" basis, and are open to both commissions
and interest groups.
- NOTE:
Presentation proposals do not have to be submitted
online for your annual Commission or
Interest Group meeting to be held at the fall conference. Abstracts
for these meetings will be due to Executive Office later in
the spring and details will be sent to you by conference staff.

commission. [These commission members should also be listed in
Section 1
of your post-conference report.]
- Conference
proposal review info/evaluation criteria -- www.nacada.ksu.edu/CandIGDivision/PropRevGuidelines.htm.
- Volunteer
Updates: Commission & Interest Group “Leadership”
web pages have been updated with the lists of volunteers
reported in your post-conference reports. Please check over these
lists and notify Julia Wolf
of updates.
- Post-conference
reports -- visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/CandIGDivision/Post-ConfReports/CIGDPostConfReports2008.htm
if you would like to review goals and activities submitted
by other CIG Chairs in their post-conference reports.
- POSTINGS
OF COPYRIGHTED INFORMATION: Copyrighted
information can be posted to your commission or interest group
web pages only if
the copyright ownership is noted on the actual document or the
copyright is signed over to NACADA. Example: If an individual
wants to post a course syllabus to the list serve, NACADA would
not be able to post that information on the web site because the
copyright for the course syllabus is owned by that institution,
and that person would not have authority to sign over copyright
permission. In such case, the information should be posted
on the institution's web site by that person and a link provided
to it. If you have any doubts as to whether a document can
be posted on our web site or if copyright is an issue, contact
Julia Wolf or Marsha
Miller at the Executive Office.
- Check
the general NACADA
calendar for other dates of interest.
Please
let Victor, Jennifer, or me know if you have any questions about
these items. Thanks for all your efforts
on behalf of your NACADA colleagues!
Julia
