JULY 2007 DEADLINES and EVENTS:

• JULY 15 - Deadline for short "News & Updates" activity summaries from CIGD Chairs for September 2007 issue of Academic Advising Today. E-mail directly to Leigh at leigh@ksu.edu.
• ONGOING - Solicit nominations for your successor as Commission Chair if being elected in 2008. If stepping down as Interest Group Chair, solicit possible successors as well. Contact Julia Wolf if you'd like to receive a list of current members in your respective unit to review for possible candidates.

ADVANCE AUGUST 2007 REMINDERS:

• AUGUST 15 - Fall Leadership Unit Reports due online to Division Reps and Executive Office. Contact Julia Wolf if you need your specific login/password for the online Leadership report system sent to you again.  

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS, LINKS, AND SUGGESTIONS --

• Annual Meeting Feedback Forms — Did you create your own evaluation form to distribute at your annual Commission/IG meeting in Indianapolis last fall to gather feedback from your members? If so, could you please e-mail it to Julia Wolf, or fax a copy to her at (785) 532-7732? These sample forms can be posted on a web page to help other Chairs create such a form for the Baltimore meetings.
• A link was added on your unit's "Conference Events" web page to the applicable track of Baltimore conference sessions. The final conference schedule is in the process of being confirmed.   Specific dates/times for Commission-sponsored sessions and annual unit meetings will be posted by late August to these "Events" web pages.
• 2007 Fall Leadership meeting schedule is posted on the web. A list of attendees expected at these meetings can also be accessed from this site. 
• Is your commission or interest group making progress on the specific goals and activities planned for this year? Please contact Jill, Kathy, or me if you need any assistance with these activities.
• Check the general NACADA Calendar for other dates of interest.
