JUNE 2007 DEADLINES and EVENTS:

• JUNE 4 - Deadline for 2007 Retiree Recognitions -- visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/Awards/Retiree.htm for details.
• JUNE 15 - Deadline for first drafts of content-based articles for September 2007 issue of Academic Advising Today. E-mail directly to Leigh at leigh@ksu.edu.

ADVANCE JULY 2007 REMINDERS:

• JULY 15 - Deadline for short "News & Updates" activity summaries from CIGD Chairs for September 2007 issue of Academic Advising Today . E-mail directly to Leigh at leigh@ksu.edu.
• ONGOING - Solicit nominations for your successor as Commission Chair if being elected in 2008. If stepping down as Interest Group Chair, solicit possible successors as well. Contact Julia Wolf if you'd like to receive a list of current members in your respective unit to review for possible candidates. 

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS, LINKS, AND SUGGESTIONS --

• Click HERE to view photos taken during the 2006 CIGD Fair in Indy. A link to this web page will be added to a web page being drafted with CIGD Fair details and guidelines. More info on this web page will follow within the next few weeks.
• 2007 NACADA award recipients have been posted to applicable "Awards" web pages for the commissions and interest groups in which they are members. Lists of these award recipients were e-mailed to CIGD Chairs on May 11 -- let me know if you did not receive this list.
• Information will be sent soon about submitting your annual fall reports via the online reporting system, which will be due August 15.
• 2007 Fall Leadership meeting schedule is posted on the web. A list of attendees expected at these meetings can also be accessed from this site. 
• Is your commission or interest group making progress on the specific goals and activities planned for this year? Please contact Jill, Kathy, or me if you need any assistance with these activities.
• Check the general NACADA Calendar for other dates of interest.
