sessions.

sure to review the 2008
CIG Division meeting minutes before attending
the CIG Division meeting in San Antonio
as well as the applications for commission status. Copies of these documents will not be provided at the meeting.

- Conference proposal readers — The CIGD Fair and your annual commission meeting are excellent opportunities to solicit readers for your commission’s conference proposals. If your Commission Chair position is up for election next year, you might also consider recruiting the nominees for that position as proposal readers.
- Not presenting a "Hot Topics" session this year? Plan to attend one of these sessions to support your fellow Chairs!
- You are encouraged to attend the Annual Town Hall Business meeting on Friday, October 2nd, 5:45-7:15pm, Convention Center Room 214C, Level 2.
- Annual
Fall Reports — Click HERE to review the annual CIGD reports submitted. Perhaps you can get
some ideas for your unit's goals and activities for next year.
- Important
Conference Links:
- During your
annual meeting, be sure to recognize
your unit members who are 2009 NACADA
award recipients (posted under "Awards" on your unit's web site). Also, be sure to point out the leadership nomination form in the back of the printed conference program, and encourage your members to nominate a colleague!
- Annual
Meeting Feedback Forms — You will need to supply
your own feedback form for your unit's annual meeting if you plan
to gather feedback from members. You can bring the template to
the conference and copies can be made for you onsite. Click HERE for ideas and sample forms.
Please
let Victor, Jennifer, or me know if you have any questions about
these items. Thanks for all your efforts
on behalf of your NACADA colleagues!
