• ONGOING — 
• Plan agenda for your respective Commission or Interest Group meeting held during the annual conference. Contact Julia Wolf if you'd like to e-mail the agenda to your unit members before the conference. For ideas or successful meeting tips, visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/CandIGDivision/CIGDAnnualMeetingTips.htm.
• Solicit nominations for your successor as Commission Chair if being elected in 2008. If stepping down as Interest Group Chair, solicit possible successors. If you'd like to receive a list of current members in your respective unit to review for possible candidates, contact Julia Wolf. For election information and the online nomination form, visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/Election/index.htm.

ADVANCE OCTOBER 2007 REMINDERS:

• OCTOBER 2 -- Send message text to Julia Wolf by this date if you would like to send an e-mail to all your commission or interest group members before the Annual Conference. Send web page revisions by this date as well.
• OCTOBER 17 -- Commission & Interest Group Division meeting prior to Baltimore annual conference (1:00-5:00 pm)
• OCTOBER 19 -- Commission & Interest Group Fair at Baltimore annual conference (7:30am-8:30am)
• OCTOBER 19-20 -- Commission and Interest Group Annual Meetings held during the annual conference.
• OCTOBER 26 -- Deadline for short "News & Updates" activity summaries for December 2007 issue of Academic Advising Today. E-mail article directly to Leigh Cunningham at leigh@ksu.edu.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS --

• Visit www.nacada.ksu.edu/CandIGDivision/CIGDMeetings-Baltimore.htm for a master schedule of CIGD conference meetings and activities. Specific dates and times for your annual unit meetings and Hot Topic sessions have also been posted to individual Commission & IG "Conference Events" web pages. The specific dates/times for the Commission-sponsored sessions will be posted within the next couple of weeks
• 2007 Fall Leadership meeting schedule is posted at www.nacada.ksu.edu/Leadership/Meetings-Leadership.htm (including specific meeting room locations) as well as links to the list of attendees expected at these meetings and expense reimbursement guidelines.
• During your annual meeting, be sure to recognize your commission or interest group members who are 2007 NACADA award recipients. These recipients are posted under "Awards" on your unit's web site.
• Send CIGD web page revisions to Julia Wolf as soon as possible if you would like them posted before the conference.
• 2007 CIGD Fair details are outlined at www.nacada.ksu.edu/CandIGDivision/Emails/CIGDEmails-2007Fair.htm.
• If you haven't done so already, please notify Julia Wolf if you will not be attending the Leadership dinner on Wednesday, October 17, at 5:00pm, following the CIG Division meeting.
• Annual Meeting Feedback Forms — Remember, you will need to supply your own feedback form for your unit's annual meeting in Baltimore if you plan to gather feedback from your members . (If you want to e-mail the template to me, I can make copies and give them to you in Baltimore.)  If you created your own evaluation form for your annual meeting in Indy last year, could you please e-mail this document to Julia Wolf, or fax a copy to Julia at (785) 532-7732?  These sample forms will be posted on a web page to help other Chairs create such a form for use in Baltimore.
• Webinar Topic Suggestion Form — Commission & Interest Group Chairs have an opportunity for input into the Webinar selection process for future seasons. If you would like to submit a topic for consideration, complete and submit the form at www.nacada.ksu.edu/Forms/webinarsuggestion.htm. Chairs are also encouraged to include mention of this form at their annual meetings in Baltimore to solicit input on these topics from their unit members.
• Check the general NACADA Calendar for other dates of interest.
