Greetings! Listed below are CIG Division deadlines coming up in
November, advance notice of December deadlines, and other important

NOVEMBER
2004 DEADLINES and EVENTS:
November
1 -- Deadline for first drafts of content-based
articles for February 2005 issue of Academic Advising News
November
14 -- CIGD Commission and Interest Group Chair Post-Conference
reports due to Division Representatives and Executive Office (optional
for Interest Groups) using the new online report form.
-- Remember to include budget requests with report where applicable.
Mid-November
-- National Conference Call for Proposals mailed to all members
ADVANCE
DECEMBER REMINDERS:
December
1 -- Deadline for short "News & Updates"
activity summaries from commissions and IGs for Feb 2005 issue of
newsletter.
December
15 -- Additional award criteria specific to your
commission for Service to Commission Award due to Executive Office
(if award being offered in 2005 by your commission)

NOTICES AND SUGGESTIONS --
- Work with Executive Office to
promote submission of 2005 national conference proposals and award
nominations by your commission or interest group members.
- Please submit any changes to
your web pages directly to Julia at the Executive Office at jqwolf@ksu.edu
and she will get them posted to your unit's web site. If you would
like to send a newsletter, e-mail message or other information
to all members of your commission or interest group, please send
that information to Julia as well.
