Fall 2004 Annual LGBTA Concerns Commission Meeting - Introduced Lynne Carlson as new Chair of Commission. 31 members were in attendance.

Discussed concerns of members. The group would like to be more visible and active within regions and other commissions. Would like to get onto committee that works to choose keynote speakers for National conferences. Set up a steering committee to work on issues and creating goals to further commission within NACADA strategic plan. Set up a group to creat a Safe Zone Ally program within NACADA for all members to participate in. Discussed having NACADA leaders ask members to "step out of their comfort zones" when choosing sessions to attend at local/regional/national conferences. Looking for more members so include someone from each region for representation on regional/local levels.
