At
the Advising Administration Commission meeting in October 2004,
the members attending endorsed the suggestion that a portion of
our former commission newsletter be brought back to life. That newsletter,
originally authored by member and former chair, Susan Campbell,
had a section on "best practices" of administrators. Seeing that
we all have busy work and personal lives, we opted to just focus
on "administrators' tips sheets" as posted below. Hopefully this
will be a source of inspiration and networking as we grow these
tips throughout the year. If you would like to contribute a tip,
please contact Linda
Chalmers, Advising Administration Commission Chair, by e-mail
at Linda.Chalmers@utsa.edu
or by fax, 210-458-4303. Thank you!

web search references related to this topic? We talk a lot about
it; now what can we do?
