Dear Commission Colleagues,

I want to update you on some progress we have made since I last wrote to you in November. We now have full regional representation on our steering committee and I thank you for the collaborative spirit I've seen or experienced when asking for help. Through the generosity of Troy Holaday, Chair of the Advising Transfer Students Commission, we have posted his "hot sheet" summarizing the impending legislation of transfer credits. You can access this document on our commission "Resources" web page at http://www.nacada.ksu.edu/Commissions/C05/resources.htm. Should there be any updates to this information, I will let you know.

We have listed four "hot topics" on the Administrators' Tips web page that were gleaned from the preconference Administrator's Seminar at the recent national conference. I encourage you to select a topic and send your comments to me at Linda.Chalmers@utsa.edu. Unless you tell me otherwise, I will list your name and e-mail as contributor.
