name is Michael Martin
and I am the chair of the list serve committee for the NACADA Advising
Education Majors Commission. At this time I
would like to personally invite you to join our commission's email
list serve.
Now
you may ask yourself -- "I get plenty of email already. Why
should I invite more?" Well, if you need a reason, here are
a few:
1)
What a great way to discuss issues, and ideas unique to the field
of education.
2)
Find people with similar research interests, to collaborate writing
papers and presentations.
3)
Ask advice and opinions from a wealth of professionals in your
field!
4)
Share useful information with colleagues (for example, here
is a great site for certification information on all 50 states)

HOW
TO SUBCRIBE
To
join the N-EDMAJORS e-mail list, simply follow
these directions:
1.
From the e-mail account under which you wish to be subscribed,
send an e-mail message to: LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KSU.EDU
2.
Type as the SOLE contents of the body of the message:
SUB N-EDMAJORS Your first and last name
EX: SUB N-EDMAJORS Thomas Thompson
3.
Delete any automatic signatures and send the message.
4.
You will receive an automatic confirmation of your subscription
and instructions on the use of the e-mail list.
HOW TO POST A MESSAGE
Send
an email to the following address: N-EDMAJORS@LISTSERV.KSU.EDU
Note:
KSU list serves may not accept file attachments. You now have a
couple of options:
- Cut and paste the information from
the attachment into the actual e-mail.
- Send the e-mail with attachments to
everyone by typing in their individual e-mail addresses rather
than to the list serve.
HOW
TO UNSUBSCRIBE
To
leave the N-EDMAJORS e-mail list, simply follow these directions:
- From the e-mail account under which
you subscribed, send an e-mail
message to: LISTSERV@LISTSERV.KSU.EDU
