Just a reminder that the deadline to submit an ESL/International Student Advising-related proposal for the NACADA 2004 National Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio, is almost here.


Some possible ideas for submissions may include:

• How to interpret TOEFL scores and how they affect admissions
• How SEVIS affects the international student
• Helping students with culture shock
• International transfer credit issues
• Advising International Student Athletes
• ESL writing courses for international students
• Applying to a US graduate school as an international student
• Any other topics you feel are relevant to our commission

I really hope you all can put something together to make our conference more informative and helpful for those who serve ESL and international students. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.
