Hello everyone!   It is hard to believe that summer is gone and fall is here! The NACADA Annual Conference in Indianapolis is approaching in a few weeks, which always offers several opportunites for professional growth. It is my hope that you are planning to attend this year's conference. As you know, the best way to grow and learn from others is to participate!

Today, I am here to offer some opportunities for you to participate. You can help me to carry out some of the activities for our commission. Below is a listing of ways that you can help:

• Attend and help with the ESL/International Student Advising Commission annual meeting - This meeting will be held October 20th from 2 to 3 pm at the Westin Council.
• Help with the Commission Fair  - The fair will take place Thursday, October 19th, 7:30-8:30 am.
• Help by attending some of our Commission-Sponsored Presentations — these are listed in your registration booklet on page 18 under ESL/International Student Advising as well as posted at www.nacada.ksu.edu/Commissions/C26/events.htm).
• Nominating yourself or others to run for Commission Chair - Elections are coming up and we want several candidate options for Commission Chair (you can contact me if you are interested).
