CONGRATULATIONS
TO OUR INCOMING COMMISSION CHAIR!
The
votes are in and ASAC members have elected Victor
Macaruso from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
as the incoming commission chair (2004–2006 term). Victor
has been a steering committee member for the last three years and
has been instrumental in the development of the Assessment Commission
survey. The survey results will be presented at the 2004 National
Conference – "The Status
of the Assessment of Advising on College and University Campuses"
will be a “must-see” presentation.

HERE WE COME!
This
year’s national conference will be held October 6-9 in Cincinnati,

A VOLUNTEER!
Our
commission has over 650 members, and we are seeking interested and
energetic individuals to serve on the following committees:
- Regional ASAC Representatives
- responsible for conducting Commission meetings and/or roundtable
discussions at the regional conferences. More than one individual
from each region is welcome!
- Website Committee -
responsible for identifying areas of expansion or deletion of
the website as well as for identifying and soliciting submissions
of assessment methods and tools to be housed on the Commission
web site.
We
will announce additional committees and volunteer opportunities
as they arise.
