Platform Statement:
I am honored to be nominated and it would be my privilege to
serve as President of NACADA. I have enjoyed the many leadership
positions I have held in NACADA, most recently as a member of
the newly constituted Board of Directors. As a new Board,
we face many challenges. I will draw on my extensive resources
and years of experience to guide NACADA and help mold the future
of this great Association.
As President, my first priority will be to listen to our members.
I want to ensure that members' concerns are addressed, that their
questions are answered, and that their diverse needs and the needs
of their students are met. NACADA has enhanced my professional
development and I want us to be there for others. My priorities
also include promoting research, strategic planning, publications,
external relations, fiscal responsibility, and providing quality
institutes, national, regional, and local conferences.
I am excited and prepared to continue my involvement on NACADA's
leadership team and look forward to being the next President.
