Platform Statement:
I appreciate the opportunity of running for regional representative
for Region 5. As the state representative for Indiana for the past
four years, I was privileged to be in on the re-organization of
NACADA. Part of that re-organization led to the development of the
grant awards program initiated by the current regional representative.
I would welcome the change to continue this program, and perhaps
expand its scope. I am excited about the future of the Great Lakes
region and look forward to serving the region and its membership.
Being regional representative seems to be in line with the progression
my own professional development career has taken, from being active
in the local academic advising organization, through the state organization,
and now moving on to the regional level.
