Qualifications:
MA in Clinical Psychology, 1973: Licensed Psychological Examiner
(1975 to 2001). My work history spans 29 years in various positions/roles
in mental health and postsecondary education. My counseling skills
have been a tremendous asset in the many administrative roles served
(International Host Family program, Associate Dean of Social Sciences,
Director of Counseling/Career/Disabilities Services, Dean of Student
Services/Multicultural Affairs). I will serve this year as chair
of the Tennessee Board of Regents Student Affairs Sub-Council. My

diverse populations, and indeed personally enriching.
My
goal for serving in this position is to provide leadership networking
with professionals in the field, to better advocate for changes/modifications
in policies negatively impacting disabled persons/students; establish
more opportunities for professional development and sharing of best
practices. Strategy will include making use of the educational process
as the vehicle for continuous improvement to policies and services
to our students.
