Platform
Statement:
I
believe that the professional development opportunities that NACADA
offers can make the difference in an advisor's career today and
in the future as they grow in the college and university environment.
NACADA as an organization has been responsible for grooming many
leaders in our institutions.
NACADA
is the type of organization that I believe in, and I would like
to be a part of creating as many professional development opportunities
for our colleagues as possible. This can be as simple as helping
an advisor to find a solution to a problem in their day to day job,
to providing opportunities at our conferences that support individuals
on a path becoming leaders on their campuses.
I
am the type of leader that works with others to identify areas for
change and growth, and then creates a team to make things happen.
The position of Region 10 chair has a history of good leaders. I
will work hard to maintain that record.
