Statement:
As
an advising administrator who oversees a faculty-driven advising
program, I am well aware of the excellence of faculty advising.
As commission chair, I would like to encourage the following activities:
- Increase
the number of sessions at the national and regional level which
deal with faculty advising.
- Increase
the number of articles in newsletters and journals which champion
the role of faculty as advisors.
- Enhance
NACADA web-based faculty advising resources.
