Statement:
If
elected, I will coordinate activities of the Finance Committee by
- electronically
disseminating to the Committee all financial information, questions
from NACADA members and leaders, issues for consideration and
vote in a timely manner;
- summarizing
Committee members' responses to questions and issues and reporting
to the Executive Office as requested; and,
- conducting
the annual committee meeting.
I
will work with the Executive Office and Board of Directors to ensure
that there is thoughtful and thorough consideration of the annual
association budget (income and expenses) for the benefit of members
and the financial health of the association. The Finance Committee
should make sure that members' dues, registration fees, and additional
sources of income are spent in accordance with the mission, goals,
and bylaws of the association in a fair and equitable manner.
