Statement:
My
professional background includes ten years of working directly with
transfer-related activities, beginning as a credential evaluator
doing course articulation and degree audit. I was then asked in
to help on the design and development of a statewide articulation
agreement website now known as "iTransfer". Some of my current responsibilities
include directing the iTransfer website and the Transfer Day program
at Illinois State University .
If
elected as the Commission Chair for Advising Transfer Students,
I would continue efforts such as informing membership about National
and State/Province trends. I would also work at continuing to communicate
the concerns of the commission to both advisors and external audiences
so that we can continue to find ways to make the Transfer process
beneficial to the student and to institutions.
