QUALIFICATIONS:
I am currently the Director of the Center for Academic Resources
for California Lutheran
University
that oversees all campus compliance
for ADA ,
as well as accommodations with Students with Disabilities (SWD),
campus wide tutoring, advising, faculty development. I am currently
receiving my Ph.D. in Educational Technology focusing on Adaptive
Technology for SWD.
GOALS:
I would like to raise awareness for reasonable needs for SWD while
adhering to the law, as well as increase discussion and raise the
quality and bar on accurate information about ADA
and what it means.
STRATEGIES:
This includes addressing the chats, knowledge base, resources, grant
information, links and chats about adaptive technology, reasonable
accommodations, web compliance, different disability needs vs. blanket
needs and the outlook for the future.
