What
do you believe are the Division's most important goals and initiatives
in meeting the strategic plan for both the Division and the Association? How
do you feel you can be of benefit to the NACADA Council in meeting
the Association's strategic plan and initiatives?
It is imperative that we support the Division with good communication to the Council that includes consistent feedback from the Regional Representatives and their states. It is also a priority that funding issues be discussed to initiate long standing changes for Executive Office staff to be hired and retained at our National Offices. In my opinion we must continue to facilitate positive growth in our Headquarters structures through technological advances and incentivization of our Executive office staff. I believe that to retain the high quality of service that is received from our National office, we must intentionally create long term solutions to retain these staff members.
Why are you interested in serving in this leadership position or
what influenced you to run for this leadership position?
I am inspired by long term growth and professional development. Having the opportunity to affect my field at the highest levels is truly my passion. NACADA has allowed me a voice to grow and create opportunities for others. I would be honored to be elevated and serve in this role.
Provide any additional comments or information (either
personal or leadership-related) that you want potential voters to know about you that is not covered
elsewhere in your platform information.
I am a highly motivated person, who believes in holistic development for all people. I pride myself on communicating the vision, and making it real so that everyone can have a tangible opportunity to succeed while working in it. I feel that NACADA offers tangible opportunities for growth and it has made me a better Leader. I embrace this opportunity for growth and I hope to help others in their daily walk to professional satisfaction.
