Join us for 24 hours of research at the NACADA Research Symposium
Friday, April 10 - Saturday, April 11, 2015
Research Symposium will be held in Indianapolis, IN following the Region 5 Conference.   Location will be announced soon. 

Come with Research Ideas — Leave with an action plan.

The Research Symposium: 

  • The Purpose of the Symposium is to build a community of scholars. It is open to all those in the academic advising profession.
  • The Program is designed for researchers at all levels who are ready to transform their ideas into scholarly works.
  • The Agenda will include: large group discussions, small group interactions, independent work, and one-on-one time with research mentors.
  • The Participants will receive materials including pertinent articles related to research in advising, among other useful tools.    

Tentative Schedule is:

1:30 - 6:00 p.m on Friday, April 10

Dinner on your own

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015

Registration is limited to 25, so register early!  

The registration fee of $85 includes Research Symposium resources, time with NACADA consultants, lunch, and refreshments.

There are no refunds on or after April 6, 2015

NACADA has arranged for a block of rooms at the conference rate at the The Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel. These rooms may sell out before the cut-off date of Wednesday, Marc 18, 2015, so reserve your room early!

    ***Room reservation information may be requested from the hotel during the last 4 weeks prior to the conference by the NACADA Executive Office in order to check on status of room block. Please e-mail Diane Matteson at matteson@ksu.edu if you request to have the hotel withhold your information.
