The Symposium will be held in conjunction with the Region 2 Conference.

  • The Purpose of the Symposium is to build a community of scholars. It is open to all those in the academic advising profession.
  • The Program is designed for researchers at all levels who are ready to transform their ideas into scholarly works.
  • The Agenda will include: large group discussions, small group interactions, independent work, and one-on-one time with research mentors.
  • The Participants will receive materials including pertinent articles related to research in advising, among other useful tools.    

Tentative Schedule is: 1:30 p.m.- 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 16 and 9:00-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2013.

Registration Information

Register on-line with a credit card. PREFERRED METHOD!

Registration is limited to 25, so register early!  NOTE:  As of 3/1/2013, there are still some registration spots available.  Please register on-line asap!

Early discount fee of $75 has been extended. Late fee will not be charged.

This includes Research Symposium resources, time with NACADA consultants, lunch, and refreshments.

Location and Hotel Information

The Symposium will be held on the campus of Rutgers University. Directions will be sent to registrants prior to the event.

Hotel arrangements may be made with the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick, 2 Albany Street, New Brunswick, NJ.
