Technology and Academic Advising: Moving to Intentional Design Seminar

Over the past several years, new technologies in academic advising have been quickly implemented:  new retention, student information, learning management, and degree audit systems, followed by Web 2.0 and social media tools.  It seems a struggle just to keep apace of these new technologies!

We’ll turn the tables at NACADA’s Technology Seminar.  Rather than trying to adapt to new technologies, we will investigate how to use technology in meeting designated advising outcomes.  In addition, we will move from the simple introduction of new technologies to giving you the information needed to select and implement technologies relative to your campus environment.
