The Nevada Drive-In Conference
will be held June 20, 2008 at the Stan Fulton International Gaming
Institute on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas
from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Please
submit a presentation proposal by Friday, April 11, 2008

Presentation
Proposal: Include the complete title of the presentation,
but do not include your name. The presentation should state the
objectives and clearly describe how the objectives will be met
(materials, methods, activities, etc). There is no word limit
on the proposal.

Abstract: The abstract should be no more than 125

Conference participants use session abstracts to determine which
session to attend, so please accurately describe the content and
focus of your proposed session.

for acceptance of your proposal will be April 25, 2008. You may

PLEASE NOTE: All
presenters and co-presenters are expected to register for the
conference. It is not possible to offer honoraria, travel assistance,
or registration waivers.
We are pleased and excited to announce
that Dr. Jane Nichols , Vice Chancellor for Academic
and Student Affairs for the Nevada System of Higher Education,
will provide the keynote address for the conference! In addition,
numerous conference sessions will be conducted around topics such
as, expectations of academic advisors, transfer student transition,
campus collaboration and awareness of academic advising, and advising
styles to best address the populations we serve. There will also
be many opportunities to network with colleagues during breakfast,
lunch and the mixer, which is scheduled for after the conference.
