A few fun facts about the NACADA Research Symposium: 

  • The Purpose of the Symposium is to build a community of scholars. It is open to all those in the academic advising profession.
  • The Program is designed for researchers at all levels who are ready to transform their ideas into scholarly works.
  • The Agenda will include: large group discussions, small group interactions, independent work, and one-on-one time with research mentors.
  • The Participants will receive materials including pertinent articles related to research in advising, among other useful tools.    

Tentative Schedule is:

1:30 - 6:00 p.m  (first day)

Dinner on your own

9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (second day)

The Research Symposium will be held at the host hotel for the Region 10 Conference:

Phoenix, AZ 85004

Room Rate: Traditional Standard Room: Single/Double $161.00. Hotel room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently 12.75%) in effect at the time of checkout. NACADA has arranged for a block of rooms at the conference rate, but these rooms may sell out before the cut-off date of Friday, February 24, 2017. Reserve your room early!
