was one of the truly lucky ones. In Winter, 2005, I attended three
different but related NACADA training sessions: the Faculty Advising
Seminar, the Administrators' Institute, and the Assessment Institute.
All three sessions confirmed that NACADA is made up of the most knowledgeable
and professional members, faculty and staff of any organization I
have ever belonged to. It was definitely worth my college's and my
time, effort and money to attend; our academic advising program will
be reaping the benefits for years to come. The Gulf Coast wasn't so
bad either."
