GRADUATE
CERTIFICATE IN ACADEMIC ADVISING |
The NACADA Board of Directors
has approved a partnership with Kansas State University's (KSU)
College of Education to provide a Graduate Certificate Program focusing
on Academic Advising. The 14 Semester Credit Hours will be delivered
entirely "at a distance" so that advisors can complete
the program without being in residence at KSU. The first courses
will be available this Fall. Watch the NACADA web site for more
information and costs as they become available.
A
FAMILY GUIDE TO ACADEMIC ADVISING |
All NACADA members should be receiving
a complimentary copy of "The Family Guide to Academic Advising",
a new joint publication from NACADA and the National Resource Center
for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. This guide
is an excellent resource for distribution to new students and their
families during orientation or other new student programs.
Orders
can be placed with NACADA or the National FYE Resource Center.

Be sure to include the institution name (with link), the
