Interest Group Goals and Activities for 2004-2005:

Each goal and/or activity has been related to the applicable mission and strategy within the NACADA Strategic Plan.

Interest Group Goals and Objectives: 

1. Gather and share information concerning First Generation College Students.
2. Have a representative from the Interest Group present at all Regional meetings.
3. Be advocates on our campuses for First Generation College Students.
4. Be advocates in the community by sharing information with local schools and community groups.
5. Study the possibility of a national survey of First Generation students.
6. Increase NACADA membership and membership within the First Generation College Student Advising Interest Group.
