Law school applications are on the rise, and applicants are looking to their academic advisors for information that will give them an edge in the admissions game. Whether pre-law is your specialty, or just one of many "general" advising services you provide, the Pre-law Advising Interest Group offers resources, support, and networking opportunities for you.

 

During the next year, we plan to launch a NACADA web resource for pre-law advisors. Our long-term goals include encouraging pre-law advisors to present at regional and national conferences, as well as to submit articles for publication.

 

The goal of the Pre-Law Advising Interest Group is to create a national network of academic advisors who assist students with the often confusing process of preparing for and applying to law school. If you do any pre-law advising at all, in any capacity, this interest group is for you! We are especially interested in reaching out to advisors who are new to pre-law or for whom pre-law is only one aspect of their role. Pre-Law Advising is one of NACADA's newest interest groups, and we welcome your input as we grow.
