Re: New Chair Needed
I
have enjoyed being the Chair of the Canada Interest Group since
it was established in October 2002. As a result of a change in employment,
I need to leave this role and turn it over to new leadership, and
am in the process of recruiting my
replacement as Canada Interest Group Chair.
The work
of the Interest Group Chair involves providing leadership
for our annual meeting at the national conference and for the future
direction the members want to take in terms of activities and resources.
The Chair is also be responsible for staffing a table during the
annual Commission and Interest Group Fair held at the conference,
as well as overseeing the interest group web pages located on the
NACADA web site at www.nacada.ksu.edu/InterestGroups/C35/index.htm.
The Chair (or a designated interest group member) provides web updates
as needed to the Executive Office staff who implement the changes.
If
you have the desire to become more actively involved in NACADA,
this is a great way to begin. More information on this Chair role
