NACADA Institute Advisory Boards provide the Executive Office with guidance and recommendations concerning curriculum, format, and procedures. 

The Chair of the Institute Advisory Board facilitates the board's work by:

1. Working with the Executive Office staff to identify issues that need attention and discussion.
2. Facilitating Advisory Board discussions on issues via e-mail and/or conference calls.
3. Facilitating Advisory Board meetings annually at the national conference.
4. Working with the Exec Office and President on appointment of new members each year.
5. Providing written reports to the Board of Directors twice annually.
6. Typically serves a two-year term.
