The
Chair of the Advisory Board facilitates the work
of the group by:
- working with the Executive Office
staff on issues that need attention or discussion.
- facilitating Advisory Board discussion
on issues via listserv, email and/or conference calls.
- facilitating Advisory Board meetings
during the Annual Conference.
- working with the Executive Office and
the President on appointment of new members each year.
- providing written reports to the Board
of Directors at least twice annually, as called for (generally
post-Annual Conference and summer update).

Board's Charge
The
Webcast Advisory Board's role is to develop and coordinate a process
for submission, recruitment, review, and selection of topics for
webcast programs, to develop the annual webcast series topics and
recommend presenters for webcasts, to review participant evaluations
on a regular basis and make recommendations for changes or improvements
in the process or the delivery, and to oversee or facilitate the
content review for specific webcasts when needed.
Outcomes
GOALS for 2011-2012
- Submit an article on how to use web events on local campuses to Academic Advising Today
- Develop training materials for presenters / panelists
- Explore the possibilities for developing a proposal system
- Record and post panel chat on how to use web events for campus professional development
