NACADA-Sponsored Member Surveys

NACADA encourages member research within the field of academic advising. In support of our strategic goal to expand and communicate the scholarship of academic advising, NACADA Research Committee members review all research requests to survey association members prior to survey development and distribution.  The submission process for sponsorship of scholarly inquiry (research) surveys is available on the Survey Guidelines webpage. Applicants are highly encouraged to apply for consideration at least six months prior to intended survey distribution date.  Applications for the next sponsored survey round will be accepted July 15 – September 15, 2014.

The Call for Proposals is now open for NACADA’s first Middle East Conference hosted in conjunction with Qatar University this upcoming November 19-20, 2014.  Proposals will be accepted until all slots are filled.  Please submit early to improve your chances of being accepted.  This conference will provide an excellent opportunity for professional development and a forum for professionals to join together and to collaborate on key issues in academic advising.  Professionals who are currently employed in higher education in the Middle East, who have been employed in the Middle East or those who work specifically with Middle East students are invited to attend.

If you are working with students from the Middle East and are interested in attending this event or presenting, please continue to check the conference website for updates.
