2014 Research Symposium
At the NACADA Research Symposium, researchers at all levels begin to transform ideas into scholarly works. Large and small group discussions, independent work, and one-on-one time with research mentors help participants leave with a viable research question and workable plan to conduct and complete research!
This year's Symposium will be held on Friday, March 21st and Saturday, March 22nd in conjunction with the Region 1 Conference in Newport, Rhode Island. Space is limited, so make your plans today! Learn more and Register.
2014 Award Nominations deadline extended until Monday, March 10th
Please remember to submit your online nomination for the 2014 NACADA Annual Advising Awards Program. Participation in the program is a great way to enhance the visibility of advising on your campus. All award nominations can be submitted online via the Award Program website.

2015 International Conference
2015 NACADA International Conference will be June 24-26, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia. The theme for this event is Partnering for Student Success. This event will provide a platform for the exchange of best practices and ideas from across the world! Be sure to check the conference website additional details become available this spring.
If you are interested in becoming an Emerging Leader or Mentor in the 2014-2016 Emerging Leaders Program class - time is running out! Applications will be accepted through March 15. Visit the Emerging Leaders Program section of the NACADA website to find information about program benefits, requirements, and the application process for Emerging Leaders and Mentors.
NACADA promotes student success by advancing the field of academic advising globally and seeks to expand and communicate the scholarship of academic advising. There is still time to submit your Research Grant application for the upcoming review round. Grant awards for up to $5,000 are available. Applications may be submitted online March 15, 2014.
NACADA-Sponsored Member Surveys
In support of our strategic goal to expand and communicate the scholarship of academic advising, NACADA Research Committee members review all research requests to survey association members prior to survey development and distribution. The submission process for sponsorship of scholarly inquiry (research) surveys is available on the Survey Guidelines webpage
. Applicants are highly encouraged to apply for consideration at least six months prior to intended survey distribution date. Applications for the next sponsored survey round will be accepted through March 15, 2014.
