Position Description
The Academic Advisor within the University of Nevada, Advising Center performs a major role in the implementation of a comprehensive academic advising system.

Duties
Duties include: advising and other transition functions for students who have not decided upon a major as well as students pursuing a Bachelor’s of General Studies degree. The Advisor is responsible for participating in the teaching of academic and career exploration courses for undecided students. The position reports to the Director, University Advising Center.

Qualifications:
 

Required Qualifications 
Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant work experience or Master's Degree and one year of relevant work experience.Related experience academic advising of undergraduate students.

Preferred Qualification
Experience working with college/university students in an academic advising setting
