Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in college student personnel, counseling, higher education or related field plus at least two years of advising or related experience at a higher education or post-secondary institution required.
  • Extensive knowledge of higher education academic programs and services and excellent communication and human relations skills also required.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work necessary.
  • Criminal and other relevant background checks required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching a college level first-year transitions course or career exploration course preferred.
  • Graduate student experience will be considered.
