The Assistant Director/Senior Advisor will provide academic advising for business majors and minors. Assist in admission, records, graduation processing, train and supervise advisors. Meet with business pre-majors as needed and liaison with minority business organizations.
- BBA student academic advising, including understanding of SMU degree and graduation requirements, degree planning for BBA students, maintenance of appropriate advising records, identifying BBA students in academic difficulty, and working with students on academic probation.
- Staff liaison and advise minority student business organizations.
- Consult with the director on enforcement of policies and procedures.
- Assist in managing records and graduation processing including graduation ceremonies.
- Train and supervise advisors.
