The Dean of the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences serves as the chief administrative officer for the College, reporting directly to the Provost & Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. The Dean provides vision and leadership for the College, overseeing academic program quality, research and scholarship, faculty development and achievement, department chair leadership, student learning and success, and administration of budgets, facilities, and resources. Additionally, the Dean is responsible for administration of off-campus programs, collective bargaining agreement implementation, policies and procedures, accreditations, external collaborations and partnerships, external grants and contracts, and development and fundraising for the College, in alignment with the division of Academic Affairs', University's, and System's strategic directions and goals.

- Eight (8) years of a combination of increasing and successful higher education faculty and administrative experience, achieving the level of department chair, related experience, or higher.
