The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Reno seeks a 12-month, full-time lecturer with expertise in psychology to teach at the undergraduate level and to serve as a department undergraduate advisor. This lecturer will coordinate with department advisors to advise incoming, transfer and continuing undergraduates on all major, minor, and general academic requirements; track student retention and progress toward degree completion; address questions that Psychology students may have about careers, study abroad, undergraduate research, and other experiential learning opportunities; work with faculty to assess student outcomes and foster student success; and develop and teach undergraduate psychology courses (e.g., introductory psychology).
