Position Description

Three (3) S2S Coaches needed to provide academic coaching and support for students on an ongoing basis; monitor and track student progress; maintain communication with faculty and staff in support of students. Review records and activity reports to ensure progress is being accomplished toward specified program objectives and measurable outcomes. 

The Coaches will coordinate with Activity Director to ensure that implementation of prescribed activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Participate in planning and developing methods for program implementation and administration. Assist with coordination of program activities. Meet weekly with activity directors to enhance implementation plans and assess progress. Communicate regularly with direct supervisor and provide solutions to and for students facing challenges. Perform other job related duties as required.

Required Qualifications

  • equires a Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in coordinating educational projects, or initiatives, summarizing and reporting results to a variety of audiences. 

Experience in the utilization of databases, and spreadsheets; excellent written and verbal communication; experience utilizing secondary data; experience and skills in research and analysis techniques appropriate for higher education; ability to conceptualize plan, and implement survey research projects; and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects within specified time frames. 

The successful candidate must also demonstrate strong initiative, independent thinking, and follow-through skills. They will also be proficient in using MS Suite; some experience with SPSS will be a plus.
